Because my speakers are broken as well as my headphones...I thought I would test my knowledge of my music and running wave forms side by side to see if I still could mix...some mistakes are made in beat matching and opening levels...but worth a listen!

House, Electro, bit of dubstep and some stuff on how to learn German...good times

Warming up the crowd can be difficult as you have to build an atmosphere then hand it over to the head liners who will then play more heavy tracks. R3wire and Varski where awesome working together and really did get the crowd pushed up against the barriers. It was a pleasure getting them started with the other student DJ, XIX.

Ms. Dynamite was awesome. The crowd loved her. It was great meeting her, and the tour DJs as it was another networking opportunity.

On reflection, The manager, DJs and the crowd said we did an awesome job warming people up and keeping them in till closing time as it means people will come back for me. Even just walking around on the floor I felt like I was famous as people where saying they really enjoyed what I did and what the headliners where doing- So all in all, i'm pretty confident we rocked out last night. We even dropped the Harlem shake, danced on stage and everyone loved it.

After close, I spoke the the R3 and Varksi and they said to get far- its all about being original, like having something that makes you stand out. This has given me a few ideas for personal branding as a progessional film maker- And a DJ.

Ministry of Sound and Ms Dynamite.

This is going to be huge. I have worked on the mainstage at the LRV before with DJ Santero. However I am feeling a bit more nervous as I have been told it should be a full house.

My goal is to warm up the audience with Chilled mainsteam and house which will then be passed over at midnight for the Raveout Tour to begin.

It's another new exciting opportunity to make new contacts and learn new skills from experienced DJs.

There is also going to be a small camera crew from Media (Film) Production documenting the night and I have just came back from a meeting with them; informing me what they want to do and their approach. This adds more nerves as I am slightly camera shy however this shouldn't stop me from showing off and dropping beats to get the party started.

The next update should follow shortly after this busy weekend and I aim to produce another mixtape which will be published on here and soundcloud.

Signing off.
